Country Kitchen at Byards Leap for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Byards Leap Country Kitchen has existed for over 100 years, believed to be the site on which the hut sat where Old Meg the witch lived. Although the Country Kitchen has kept its outward appearance, over the years, many changes have been made to the internal rooms, and, of course, the kitchen is now all stainless steel with modern appliances.
The two sets of giant horseshoes, dropped by the legendary horse Bayard when he made those famous leaps, are just opposite, giving the hamlet its shortened name of Byards Leap.
